We had our first game of the season this past Wednesday against Millbrook High School and ended up losing. The good thing about it is our team learned a valuable lesson about practicing and going hard before games so when we get out there on the floor we'll be pumped up and ready to win. Other than that I think our team did pretty good the second half of the game.
At practice the next day, we worked hard on drills and scrimmaged a little to work on our transition plays. Towards the middle of practice a newspaper reporter from Free Lance Star came in to interview me and ask me questions about the season, the new coach, and how it felt to be the only freshman on varsity. I was nervous but I enjoyed the feeling of my first time being interviewed ;)

Shannon,
We are so proud of you. Knew you were a supastar when you could handle the ball better than me at 2 years old and I was 22 :) May God watch over you and continue to bless you with mad skills. Imagine how good you could be if you would just eat your veggies now;) Love ya.
